Our Gold Spiced Rum fuses our hybrid distilled, smooth rum with delicate spices. Light gold in appearance, this rum is perfect for sipping on ice or pairing with Coca Cola or Ginger Ale.

A modern distillery, with historic roots

In the late 1930’s, deep in the Shropshire Hills, a secret World War II site was built with the purpose of storing aviation fuel to support the ongoing war efforts. Over 84 years later, it’s here that Distinct Distillers is producing British Spirits and with it’s commemorative 1944 range, where donations are made for every bottle sold to the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans, it is is dedicated to preserving and honouring this heritage.

Our Commemorative 1944 British Dark Rum honours the heroes who played a part in changing the course of history. £2 for every bottle sold is donated to The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans whose sole aim is to exist for the comfort and enjoyment of military veterans from all conflicts.

Tasting note: Aged in Sherry and Bourbon barrel oak chips, this smooth spice forward dark rum has notes of demerara, coffee and caramel.
